1. Ilha de Tinhare

There are also no cars on the island of Tinhare. It wasn’t until the 1980s that the island community of Morro de Sao Paolo got its first power lines. The island is a popular getaway for both Brazilians and tourists from across the world, despite its relative isolation. You may easily discover a little, secluded beach home for rent on the borders of this cosy little town, which is perfect for tourists.

White sand beaches and picturesque wilderness areas abound on this island, which is perfect for strolls along its numerous well-maintained routes. While the locals of Morro de Sao Paolo have preserved their laid-back lifestyle, they have also accommodated the numerous visitors who wish to partake in this paradisiacal setting.

2. Santos Beach

For hundreds of years, Santos has served as the Sao Paulo region’s principal port. Originally settled by major export companies like the world-renowned coffee stock market, this region is today home to a thriving metropolis of about 500,000 people, all drawn here for coffee.

Along with many other locations, travellers may still view the relics of the coffee empire. The world’s longest beach garden is located in this city. Despite being lovely for early morning strolls, some beaches may get quite congested during peak hours.

3. Praia do Campeche

Because it has 42 different beaches, the city of Florianopolis is a favourite vacation spot for beach bums. Located on both the Brazilian mainland and Santa Catarina Island, this city is split down the middle. One of Florianópolis’s top beaches is Campeche, which is located on Santa Catarina Island’s southeast coast. Many active beachgoers, including surfers and kitesurfers, love this beach. Ilha do Campeche, an island teeming with native vegetation and ancient ruins, is directly in front of the shore.

4. Jericoacoara

Jeri, as the locals call it, is a remote area near Brazil’s northernmost tip, concealed by a sea of dunes. This is an excellent option for individuals who think that getting to the best places requires some sort of adventure. The sole means of access is to traverse the dunes via unpaved sand trails.

Visitors are greeted with a tiny but abundant selection of hotels, restaurants, and nightlife upon arrival to the little town of Jericoacoara. Jeri Beach is home to breathtaking ocean vistas and a plethora of beach-related activities. Visit Sunset Dune for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness breathtaking sunset views and perhaps catch a glimpse of the elusive “green flash” as the sun dips below the horizon.

5. Ipanema

In the 1960s, the bossa nova song “The Girl from Ipanema” made the beach in Rio de Janeiro famous. Today, the beach is a major tourist destination. Consistently ranking first on the “Best Beaches in Brazil” lists, Ipanema has a lengthy, sweeping stretch of powdery white sand and gently lapping waves.

The shoreline is bordered by a neat grid of restaurants, cafes, and stores, along with a variety of art galleries, theatres, and nightclubs. In the posh South Zone, or “Zona Sul,” you’ll find Ipanema nestled between Leblon and Copacabana beaches.

6. Copacabana

This famous Brazilian beach sits in the middle of Rio de Janeiro, in contrast to the many others that are remote and wild. As a result, it provides a plethora of services that make it convenient to visit on short notice.

A lovely promenade adorned with a Portuguese stone pattern of black and white checks runs along the beach, while several hotels and restaurants can be found behind it. During the World Cup and other major events in Rio de Janeiro, this famed party and festival neighbourhood is crawling with revellers.

7. Baia do Sancho

This beach is always ranked among the best in the world because of its pristine blue seas. This beach, situated in the secluded Fernando de Noronha archipelago, has been praised by several sources as having unparalleled purity of beauty. Praia do Leão, another beach on the archipelago, is also frequently rated highly. You may go swimming or snorkelling in the pristine blue waters off the coasts of both beaches. Because there aren’t many people living here even during peak season, the islands are perfect for couples looking for some peace on the beach.

8. Lopes Mendes, Ilha Grande

The island of Ilha Grande, located off the coast of Rio de Janeiro state, was formerly a leper colony but was deserted for decades after its usage ended. Consequently, this region was spared a lot of the environmental hazards that are typically associated with growth.

Many endangered species, like the brown howler monkey and the red-ruffed fruitcrow, call this remnant of the region’s rainforest home today. Even now, the island does not have any roads or automobiles. From the dock where numerous boats dock, it is a short jungle walk to the vast beach of Lopes Mendes. In addition to having safe swimming conditions, the surf is excellent.

9. Praia do Forno

Buzios, a seaside community, has a history of pirates and slave dealers. After these businesses declined, the town became a fishing community. Thanks in large part to the twenty-odd beaches that surround the area, it has become famous among tourists as one of the most picturesque places on Earth.

Nestled against a massive cliff and a variety of submerged rocks that offer abundant sea life for snorkelers, Forno Beach has been secluded from the town of Buzios by an unmarked route. There are a couple dozen additional stunning beaches in the vicinity of Buzios that tourists might explore if this one seems too isolated.
