“Unveiling Luxury: Norwegian’s Latest Cruise Ship Features Go-Kart Thrills, Infinity Pools, and Culinary Delights”

In June 2023, Norwegian Cruise Line‘s newest ship will make her Mediterranean premiere. It has space for more than 3,200 people, many infinity pools, an outdoor food court and an outdoor go-kart track, among its many attractions.

about January 12, 2022, Norwegian Viva was introduced, providing information about summer itineraries that would visit famous ports like Athens and Lisbon as well as Italian entry points like Civitavecchia, close to Rome, and Trieste, close to Venice. The Viva will make San Juan, Puerto Rico, its home port starting on December 15, 2023, after sailing across the Atlantic in November.

According to Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line, “We at NCL visit more ports than any other contemporary cruise line, more than Royal [Caribbean], more than Princess, and definitely more than Carnival.” This will only strengthen our “going to new and exciting places” brand, if you will.

The recently unveiled ship will have many of the same extravagant luxuries as the previously unveiled Norwegian Prima, Viva’s sister ship that sails this summer. There is no chance behind it, Sommer said T+L.

“The Prima was off the charts fantastic for us,” Sommer said. “It was the first new ship design for us in a decade, and the concepts of space, service, design, and experience, [those] resonated tremendously well with our guests, and, as you know, it was a record-breaking launch for us.”

“So, I was like, ‘Oh my God, we have a hit,’ so we’re not gonna change too much with [Viva],” Sommer said. Itineraries are the main area of emphasis here. Our wonderful itineraries on Prima, such as those that travel through Iceland, Norway, Amsterdam, and London (Southampton), are being warmly appreciated. On Viva, though, we’re going to turn it up. We’re basically doing a tour of the whole Mediterranean, stopping at ports in Lisbon, Ibiza, Palma, Barcelona, Florence, Rome, Naples, Sicily, Dubrovnik, Venice, Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, and Istanbul.

The 3,219-passenger ship offers a wide variety of cabin options, including both luxurious suites and more reasonably priced ones. 107 deluxe suites in a special sector of the ship called The Haven by Norwegian, designated solely for suite guests, will be among the most coveted options. In addition to the roomy bedrooms, The Haven also has a sun deck, infinity pool, private restaurant, and outdoor spa.

“We’ve seen that Haven truly strikes the ideal mix for slightly more wealthy visitors. They may enjoy all the advantages of a small ship, like butler and concierge services, elegant decor, and larger stateroom sizes, giving them the best of both worlds, according to Sommer. It seems so corny, but, you know, I’ve personally experienced it, Sommer said with a chuckle.

There will be a variety of dining options, including the Indulge Food Hall, which features 11 unique concepts, and the popular Italian restaurant Onda by Scarpetta from the Norwegian Encore. Sommer declared, “We’re announcing for Viva as well everything we did on Prima. Early in March, we’ll have our next major food reveal.

According to Sommer, Viva will feature more than 20 dining options overall. The new ship will also have a three-level go-kart track called the Viva Speedway that can fit up to 15 racers and a number of adrenaline-pumping thrill experiences that debuted on Prima, such The Drop and The Rush.
